9ct Gold St Bridget’s Cross Pendant

A 9ct yellow gold St Bridget’s Cross pendant, this is a lovely unique piece. 

A Bridget's cross is a four-ended cross made of straw or rushes, with a knotted pattern in the middle. Brigid's cross is typically woven on 1 February, her feast day. Hanging Brigid's cross from the rafters of one's house was believed to bring the blessing and protection of the saint for the remainder of the year.
