A stunning celebration of Irish culture, exclusively designed and crafted to the highest quality. Irish designed and Hand-Crafted jewellery that portrays the History of Galway. Each icon depicts landmarks of Galway and is a celebration of irish and Celtic culture and history in the heart of Galway.

The 7 icons:

The Spanish Arch, built in 1584, welcomed travellers safely to shore and was a beacon for visitors from distant lands, including Christopher Columbus.

The Galway Hooker is a traditional fishing boat unique to the region. Its distinctive silhouette signalled the arrival of supplies for the Aran Islands, carried in by the Atlantic winds.

The Leaping Salmon represents both the myths of ancient Ireland and the abundance of the rivers and seas that sustained Galway’s people and now attract anglers from around the world.

The Horse reflects Galway’s deep equestrian roots. The region is known for its horses and ponies, and the famous Galway Races have drawn crowds to Ballybrit Racecourse every summer for over a century.

The Coat of Arms honours the fourteen tribes who once governed the city and helped shape Galway’s rich cultural legacy.

The Waves symbolise the Wild Atlantic Way, as well as the beautiful beaches and rolling waves found all across Galway.

The Claddagh, with its iconic hands, heart, and crown, is a symbol of love, loyalty, and friendship. Created in Galway by Richard Joyce, the Claddagh Ring remains a cherished emblem of the city and is still handcrafted by goldsmiths at Blacoe Jewellers on Shop Street.
